Thursday 13th June at 6.45 pm: Clifton House tour and drinks reception

We are very pleased to have been able to secure the impressive Clifton House for a drinks reception on the Thursday evening.  Set in tranquil landscaped gardens, at the heart of Belfast, the building was the city’s Poorhouse from 1774 until the late 1880s.  We will be treated to a guided tour of this fascinating Georgian building, followed by a drinks reception and canapes in the entrance hall.  Tickets are £19.75 and can be booked on Eventbrite.

Friday 14th June at 6.45 pm: Crumlin Road Gaol tour and 3-course dinner

The Crumlin Road Gaol first opened its gates to prisoners in 1846, and remained in use as a prison until 1996.  It has housed suffragettes and loyalist and republican prisoners.  It has witnessed births, deaths and marriages and has been the site of executions, escapes, hunger-strikes and riots.  As you would expect, its history is fascinating and the tours are now one of Belfast’s most popular historical attractions.  Ticket holders will experience a guided tour, followed by a 3-course meal in ‘Cuffs’ restaurant within the prison itself.  Tickets are priced £36.95 and are available on Eventbrite.  Once you have booked your ticket, please choose your options from the menu below and email these to

Saturday 15th June at 2pm: Political Tour of West Belfast – Conflicting Stories

This 3-hour walking tour of West Belfast allows participants to gain a unique perspective on the Troubles era from ex-prisoners on both sides of the sectarian divide.  The tour takes in murals and their stories and the so-called ‘peace line’ as republicans and loyalists who have served time in prison guide the group along the Falls and Shankill Roads.  Please be aware that these are personal stories and, as such, represent the perspectives of those who share them. Tickets cost £14.50. To find out more, read the reviews here:
